Mary Mother of the Church Parish Pastoral Council
“Now that I, your Lord and Teacher, have washed your feet, you also should wash one another”
– John 13: 14
The Mary Mother of the Church Parish Pastoral Council consists of the Parish Priest and a group of parishioners elected by the community and appointed by him. Representing the parish, the Council shares responsibility and accountability, for building a vibrant Catholic community, embedded in the Word of God and the Eucharist, whilst being filled with faith, love, service and worship. The Council offers advice and assistance on ways to foster Pastoral actions – actions that are centred on Jesus and proclaims the Gospel in terms that are meaningful for members of our parish; helping them to discover and live the mission of the Church – “to be a light unto the world”.
