Keeping our church open
Maintenance, utilities, insurance and the everyday costs of keeping our church a safe, warm and welcoming place of worship — open every day of the week for the whole community.
Home / Support Us
Our parish receives no government funding for its day-to-day life. Everything we do — every Mass, every visit to the sick, every act of practical charity — is made possible by the generosity of people like you.
Why Your Gift Matters
Every contribution to our parish directly supports our charitable mission in Macquarie Fields and south-west Sydney:
Maintenance, utilities, insurance and the everyday costs of keeping our church a safe, warm and welcoming place of worship — open every day of the week for the whole community.
Visits to the sick, elderly and housebound; support for families, migrants and refugees settling into our community; and the practical works of mercy that reach people at their most vulnerable.
Preparing children and adults for Baptism, First Communion, Confirmation and Marriage, and supporting the faith formation of our whole multicultural community.
Ways To Give
The collection taken up at each Mass is the foundation of parish life. Envelopes are available at the church entrance, and cash gifts of any size are received with gratitude.
Many parishioners choose to give regularly by direct deposit or through a planned giving arrangement. For the parish's current bank details, please contact the parish office on (02) 9605 6169 or email info@mmotc.com.au — we will gladly provide them.
Giving is not only financial. Readers, musicians, ministers of Communion, hospitality helpers, gardeners and visitors to the sick all keep this parish alive. Contact us to find a ministry that suits you.
Above all, we ask for your prayers — for our priests, our parishioners, and all those our ministries serve. Prayer is the engine room of everything we do.
Catholic Parish Of Mary Mother Of The Church Macquarie Fields is a registered charity with the ACNC (ABN 13 068 105 213) and reports annually to the regulator. As a Basic Religious Charity, gifts to the parish are generally not tax-deductible — our parishioners give because they believe in the mission, and we are deeply grateful to everyone who does.
Every gift — of money, time or prayer — helps this parish keep its doors open and its heart open wider still.
